If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. ¹  But they no longer have any excuse for their sin.

The brothers in Lystra ¹  and Iconium ²  spoke well ³  of him. ⁴ 

After the Lord had spoken these things to Job, he ¹  said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “My anger is stirred up ²  against you and your two friends, because you have not spoken about me what is right, ³  as my servant Job has.

So now, O Lord God, make this promise you have made about your servant and his family a permanent reality. ¹  Do as you promised, ²

I, I have spoken – yes, I have summoned him; I lead him and he will succeed. ¹ 

Listen, you Israelites, to this message which the Lord is proclaiming against ¹  you! This message is for the entire clan I brought up ²  from the land of Egypt:

He stayed there until Herod ¹  died. In this way what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet was fulfilled: “I called my Son out of Egypt.” ² 

He came to a town called Nazareth ¹  and lived there. Then what had been spoken by the prophets was fulfilled, that Jesus ²  would be called a Nazarene. ³ 

In this way what was spoken by Isaiah the prophet was fulfilled: ¹  “He took our weaknesses and carried our diseases.” ² 

This fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet: ¹  “I will open my mouth in parables, I will announce what has been hidden from the foundation of the world.” ² 

“So when you see the abomination of desolation ¹  – spoken about by Daniel the prophet – standing in the holy place (let the reader understand),

Then what was spoken by Jeremiah ¹  the prophet was fulfilled: “They took the thirty silver coins, the price of the one whose price had been set by the people of Israel, ² 

After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

The crowd that stood there and heard the voice ¹  said that it had thundered. Others said that an angel had spoken to him. ² 

The one who rejects me and does not accept ¹  my words has a judge; ²  the word ³  I have spoken will judge him at the last day.

Jacob named the place ¹  where God spoke with him Bethel. ² 

Are God’s consolations ¹  too trivial for you; ²  or a word spoken ³  in gentleness to you?
