Now the tablets were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, engraved on the tablets.

and in cutting stones for their setting, ¹  and in cutting wood, to do work in every artistic craft. ²

to equip ¹  the saints for the work of ministry, that is, ²  to build up the body of Christ,

Whatever you are doing, ¹  work at it with enthusiasm, ²  as to the Lord and not for people, ³ 

and to esteem them most highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.

This saying ¹  is trustworthy: “If someone aspires to the office of overseer, ²  he desires a good work.”

You, however, be self-controlled ¹  in all things, endure hardship, do an evangelist’s work, fulfill your ministry.

Remind them to be subject to rulers and ¹  authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work.
