There they ¹  crucified ²  him along with two others, ³  one on each side, with Jesus in the middle.

The two were running together, but the other disciple ran faster than Peter ¹  and reached the tomb first. ² 

Then they prayed, ¹  “Lord, you know the hearts of all. Show us which one of these two you have chosen

Paul ¹  lived ²  there two whole years in his own rented quarters ³  and welcomed ⁴  all who came to him,

Deacons likewise must be dignified, ¹  not two-faced, ²  not given to excessive drinking, ³  not greedy for gain,

Do not accept an accusation against an elder unless it can be confirmed by two or three witnesses. ¹ 

And I will grant my two witnesses authority ¹  to prophesy for 1,260 days, dressed in sackcloth.

Aren’t two sparrows sold for a penny? ¹  Yet not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. ²

and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and will be united with his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? ¹ 

Two ¹  blind men were sitting by the road. When they heard that Jesus was passing by, they shouted, ²  “Have mercy ³  on us, Lord, Son of David!” ⁴ 

“What ¹  do you think? A man had two sons. He went to the first and said, ‘Son, go and work in the vineyard today.’

and will cut him in two, ¹  and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

To ¹  one he gave five talents, ²  to another two, and to another one, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey.

“You know that after two days the Passover is coming, and the Son of Man will be handed over ¹  to be crucified.” ² 

Just then ¹  the temple curtain ²  was torn in two, from top to bottom. The ³  earth shook and the rocks were split apart.

He said to them, “How many loaves do you have? Go and see.” When they found out, they said, “Five – and two fish.”

If your foot causes you to sin, cut it off! It is better to enter life lame than to have ¹  two feet and be thrown into hell. ² 

He sent two of his disciples and told them, “Go into the city, and a man carrying a jar ¹  of water will meet you. Follow him.
