In the most holy place he made two images of cherubim and plated them with gold.

Jehoiada chose two wives for him who gave him sons and daughters.

God has declared one principle; two principles I have heard: ¹  God is strong, ² 

to the one who divided ¹  the Red Sea ²  in two, ³  for his loyal love endures,

May they praise God while they hold a two-edged sword in their hand, ¹ 

but in the end ¹  she is bitter ²  as wormwood, ³  sharp as a two-edged ⁴  sword.

Two things ¹  I ask from you; ²  do not refuse me before I die:
