And blessed ¹  is she who believed that ²  what was spoken to her by ³  the Lord would be fulfilled.” ⁴ 

Now the time came ¹  for Elizabeth to have her baby, ²  and she gave birth to a son.

You gave me no kiss of greeting, ¹  but from the time I entered she has not stopped kissing my feet.

You did not anoint my head with oil, but she has anointed my feet ¹  with perfumed oil.

She ¹  came up behind Jesus ²  and touched the edge ³  of his cloak, ⁴  and at once the bleeding ⁵  stopped.

But when Jesus heard this, he told ¹  him, “Do not be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.” ² 

Her ¹  spirit returned, ²  and she got up immediately. Then ³  he told them to give her something to eat.

She ¹  had a sister named Mary, who sat ²  at the Lord’s feet ³  and listened to what he said.

She replied, ¹  “Yes, Lord, I believe ²  that you are the Christ, ³  the Son of God who comes into the world.” ⁴ 

Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She ¹  turned and said to him in Aramaic, ²  “Rabboni” ³  (which means Teacher). ⁴ 

After an interval of about three hours, ¹  his wife came in, but she did not know ²  what had happened.

But I do not allow ¹  a woman to teach or exercise authority ²  over a man. She must remain quiet. ³ 

By faith Rahab the prostitute escaped the destruction of ¹  the disobedient, because she welcomed the spies in peace.

I ¹  have given her time to repent, but ²  she is not willing to repent of her sexual immorality.

As for ¹  the woman you saw, she is the great city that has sovereignty over the kings of the earth.”

She will give birth to a son and you will name him ¹  Jesus, ²  because he will save his people from their sins.”

“A voice was heard in Ramah, weeping and loud wailing, ¹  Rachel weeping for her children, and she did not want to be comforted, because they were ²  gone.” ³ 

But he did not answer her a word. Then ¹  his disciples came and begged him, ²  “Send her away, because she keeps on crying out after us.”

Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came to him with her sons, and kneeling down she asked him for a favor. ¹ 

a woman came to him with an alabaster jar ¹  of expensive perfumed oil, ²  and she poured it on his head as he was at the table. ³
