You must live in temporary shelters ¹  for seven days; every native citizen in Israel must live in temporary shelters,

I myself will also walk in hostility against you and strike you ¹  seven times on account of your sins.

“‘On the seventh day you must offer seven bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs one year old, all without blemish,

You must celebrate the Festival of Temporary Shelters ¹  for seven days, at the time of the grain and grape harvest. ² 

When the ark of the Lord had been in the land ¹  of the Philistines for seven months, ²

Since Jacob had fallen in love with ¹  Rachel, he said, “I’ll serve you seven years in exchange for your younger daughter Rachel.”

So Jacob worked for seven years to acquire Rachel. ¹  But they seemed like only a few days to him ²  because his love for her was so great. ³

Jacob ¹  had marital relations ²  with Rachel as well. He loved Rachel more than Leah, so he worked for Laban ³  for seven more years. ⁴ 

So he took his relatives ¹  with him and pursued Jacob ²  for seven days. ³  He caught up with ⁴  him in the hill country of Gilead.
