(Now the men ¹  who were traveling with him stood there speechless, ²  because they heard the voice but saw no one.) ³ 

Now Peter continued knocking, and when they opened the door ¹  and saw him, they were greatly astonished. ² 

since you are encountering ¹  the same conflict that you saw me face and now hear that I am facing. ² 

who then ¹  testified to everything that he saw concerning the word of God and the testimony about ²  Jesus Christ.

I ¹  turned to see whose voice was speaking to me, ²  and when I did so, ³  I saw seven golden lampstands,

Then ¹  I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.

Then ¹  the angel I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven

As for ¹  the woman you saw, she is the great city that has sovereignty over the kings of the earth.”

saying, “Where is the one who is born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose ¹  and have come to worship him.”

Now ¹  when Jesus entered Peter’s house, he saw his mother-in-law lying down, ²  sick with a fever.

Now when Jesus saw a large crowd ¹  around him, he gave orders to go to the other side of the lake. ² 

Then ¹  the entire town ²  came out to meet Jesus. And when they saw him, they begged him to leave their region.

But when Jesus turned and saw her he said, “Have courage, daughter! Your faith has made you well.” ¹  And the woman was healed ²  from that hour.

When ¹  he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were bewildered and helpless, ²  like sheep without a shepherd.

But when the Pharisees ¹  saw this they said to him, “Look, your disciples are doing what is against the law to do on the Sabbath.”

When ¹  the disciples saw him walking on the water ²  they were terrified and said, “It’s a ghost!” and cried out with fear.

When ¹  his fellow slaves saw what had happened, they were very upset and went and told their lord everything that had taken place.

When it was about nine o’clock in the morning, ¹  he went out again and saw others standing around in the marketplace without work.

But when the tenants saw the son, they said to themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him and get his inheritance!’

But when the king came in to see the wedding guests, he saw a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes.
