what he stores up ¹  a righteous man will wear, and an innocent man will inherit his silver.

So these three men refused to answer ²  Job further, because he was righteous in his ³  own eyes.

Do you really think ¹  that one who hates justice can govern? ²  And will you declare guilty the supremely righteous ³  One,

If you are righteous, what do you give to God, or what does he receive from your hand?

So ¹  you will walk in the way of good people, ²  and will keep on the paths of the righteous. ³ 

The Lord’s curse ¹  is on the household ²  of the wicked, ³  but he blesses ⁴  the home ⁵  of the righteous. ⁶ 

But the path of the righteous is like the bright morning light, ¹  growing brighter and brighter ²  until full day. ³ 

The teaching ¹  of the righteous is a fountain of life, ²  but the speech ³  of the wicked conceals ⁴  violence. ⁵ 

What the righteous say ¹  is like ²  the best ³  silver, but what the wicked think ⁴  is of little value. ⁵ 

When the storm ¹  passes through, the wicked are swept away, ²  but the righteous are an everlasting foundation. ³ 

The speech ¹  of the righteous bears the fruit of wisdom, ²  but the one who speaks perversion ³  will be destroyed. ⁴ 

The lips of the righteous know ¹  what is pleasing, ²  but the speech ³  of the wicked is perverse.

With his speech ¹  the godless person ²  destroys ³  his neighbor, but by knowledge ⁴  the righteous will be delivered.

What the righteous desire ¹  leads ²  only to good, but what the wicked hope for ³  leads ⁴  to wrath.

The one who trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous ¹  will flourish like a green leaf. ² 

The fruit of the righteous is like ¹  a tree producing life, ²  and the one who wins souls ³  is wise. ⁴ 

The evil person is ensnared ¹  by the transgression of his speech, ²  but the righteous person escapes out of trouble. ³ 

The righteous person is cautious in his friendship, ¹  but the way of the wicked leads them astray.

The righteous has enough food to satisfy his appetite, ¹  but the belly of the wicked lacks food. ² 

The wicked will be thrown down in his trouble, ¹  but the righteous have refuge ²  even in the threat of death. ³
