Then the Lord met Balaam and put a message ¹  in his mouth and said, “Return to Balak, and speak what I tell you.”

In your distress when all these things happen to you in the latter days, ¹  if you return to the Lord your God and obey him ² 

You must cook ¹  and eat it in the place the Lord your God chooses; you may return the next morning to your tents.

When you see ¹  your neighbor’s ²  ox or sheep going astray, do not ignore it; ³  you must return it without fail ⁴  to your neighbor.

They did not treat ¹  the family of Jerub-Baal (that is, Gideon) fairly in return for all the good he had done for Israel.

All Israel rose up in unison ¹  and said, “Not one of us will go home! ²  Not one of us will return ³  to his house!

Now as she and her two daughters-in-law began to leave the place where she had been living to return to the land of Judah, ¹

So David and his men got up early in the morning to return ¹  to the land of the Philistines, but the Philistines went up to Jezreel.

Jeroboam and all the people reported ¹  to Rehoboam on the third day, just as the king had ordered when he said, “Return to me on the third day.”

He stretched out over the boy three times and called out to the Lord, “O Lord, my God, please let this boy’s breath return to him.”

Then the king of Israel said, “Take Micaiah and return him to Amon the city official and Joash the king’s son.

Say, ‘This is what the king says, “Put this man in prison. Give him only a little bread and water ¹  until I safely return.”’” ² 

Micaiah said, “If you really do safely return, then the Lord has not spoken through me.” Then he added, “Take note, ¹  all you people.”

As the sun was setting, a cry went through the camp, “Each one should return to his city and to his homeland.”

She called to her husband, “Send me one of the servants and one of the donkeys, so I can go see the prophet quickly and then return.”
