Hasn’t he treated us like foreigners? He not only sold us, but completely wasted ¹  the money paid for us! ² 

You will oversee my household, and all my people will submit to your commands. ¹  Only I, the king, will be greater than you. ² 

The frogs will depart from you, your houses, your servants, and your people; they will be left only in the Nile.”

No! ¹  Go, you men ²  only, and serve the Lord, for that ³  is what you want.” ⁴  Then Moses and Aaron ⁵  were driven ⁶  out of Pharaoh’s presence.

Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and said, “Go, serve the Lord – only your flocks and herds will be detained. Even your families ¹  may go with you.”

He must not marry ¹  a widow, a divorced woman, or one profaned by prostitution; he may only take a virgin from his people ²  as a wife.

However, only to your ancestors did he ¹  show his loving favor, ²  and he chose you, their descendants, ³  from all peoples – as is apparent today.

When your ancestors went down to Egypt, they numbered only seventy, but now the Lord your God has made you as numerous as the stars of the sky. ¹ 

But you must seek only the place he ¹  chooses from all your tribes to establish his name as his place of residence, ²  and you must go there.

for you may do so ¹  only in the place the Lord chooses in one of your tribal areas – there you may do everything I am commanding you. ² 

Only the holy things and votive offerings that belong to you, you must pick up and take to the place the Lord will choose. ¹ 

You must follow the Lord your God and revere only him; and you must observe his commandments, obey him, serve him, and remain loyal to him.

At the testimony of two or three witnesses they must be executed. They cannot be put to death on the testimony of only one witness.
