And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye than to have ¹  two eyes and be thrown into fiery hell. ² 

And no one pours new wine into old wineskins; ¹  otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the skins will be destroyed. Instead new wine is poured into new wineskins.” ² 

Jesus ¹  gave them permission. ²  So ³  the unclean spirits came out and went into the pigs. Then the herd rushed down the steep slope into the lake, and about two thousand were drowned in the lake.

If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off! It is better for you to enter into life crippled than to have ¹  two hands and go into hell, ²  to the unquenchable fire. ³ 

If your eye causes you to sin, tear it out! ¹  It is better to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye than to have ²  two eyes and be thrown into hell,

The sick man answered him, “Sir, ¹  I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up. While I am trying to get into the water, ²  someone else ³  goes down there ⁴  before me.”

For if you were cut off from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and grafted, contrary to nature, into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these natural branches be grafted back into their own olive tree?

Then the demons begged him, ¹  “If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.”

The ¹  herdsmen ran off, went into the town, ²  and told everything that had happened to the demon-possessed men.

After getting into a boat he crossed to the other side and came to his own town. ¹ 

They will throw them into the fiery furnace, ¹  where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

After sending away the crowd, he got into the boat and went to the region of Magadan. ¹ 

He said to them, ‘You go into the vineyard too, and I will give you whatever is right.’

Then many will be led into sin, ¹  and they will betray one another and hate one another.

And throw that worthless slave into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

He ¹  answered, “The one who has dipped his hand into the bowl with me ²  will betray me.

Stay awake and pray that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

So ¹  Judas threw the silver coins into the temple and left. Then he went out and hanged himself.

(They ¹  came out of the tombs after his resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many people.)

Then ¹  they went to Capernaum. ²  When the Sabbath came, ³  Jesus ⁴  went into the synagogue ⁵  and began to teach.
