The rest of their fellow Levites ¹  were assigned to perform the remaining tasks at God’s sanctuary. ² 

The four head gatekeepers, who were Levites, were assigned to guard the storerooms and treasuries in God’s sanctuary. ¹ 

They placed his armor in the temple of their gods ¹  and hung his head in the temple of Dagon.

and the priests Benaiah and Jahaziel were to blow trumpets regularly before the ark of God’s covenant.

For the Lord is great and certainly worthy of praise, he is more awesome than ¹  all gods.

Acknowledge God’s power, ¹  his sovereignty over Israel, and the power he reveals in the skies! ² 

I will sing praises to God’s name! ¹  I will magnify him as I give him thanks! ² 

Then I entered the precincts of God’s temple, ¹  and understood the destiny of the wicked. ²
