And because they saw the man who had been healed standing with them, they had nothing to say against this. ¹ 

Then they secretly instigated ¹  some men to say, “We have heard this man ²  speaking blasphemous words against Moses and God.”

So after they shook ¹  the dust off their feet ²  in protest against them, they went to Iconium. ³ 

But the Jews who refused to believe ¹  stirred up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds ²  against the brothers.

So the chief priests and the most prominent men ¹  of the Jews brought formal charges ²  against Paul to him.

For it seems unreasonable to me to send a prisoner without clearly indicating ¹  the charges against him.”

From there we put out to sea ¹  and sailed under the lee ²  of Cyprus because the winds were against us.

Now we know that God’s judgment is in accordance with truth ¹  against those who practice such things.

therefore ¹  you who teach someone else, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal?

What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

For the one who eats and drinks without careful regard ¹  for the body eats and drinks judgment against himself.

Do not accept an accusation against an elder unless it can be confirmed by two or three witnesses. ¹ 

But if you have bitter jealousy and selfishness in your hearts, do not boast and tell lies against the truth.

yet even ¹  angels, who are much more powerful, ²  do not bring a slanderous ³  judgment against them before the Lord. ⁴ 

Do not speak against one another, brothers and sisters. ¹  He who speaks against a fellow believer ²  or judges a fellow believer speaks against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but its judge. ³ 

The rain fell, the flood ¹  came, and the winds beat against that house, but it did not collapse because it had been founded on rock.

“Brother ¹  will hand over brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rise against ²  parents and have them put to death.

But when the Pharisees ¹  saw this they said to him, “Look, your disciples are doing what is against the law to do on the Sabbath.”

For this reason I tell you, people will be forgiven for every sin and blasphemy, ¹  but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.

Then Peter came to him and said, “Lord, how many times must I forgive my brother ¹  who sins against me? As many as seven times?”
