Josiah observed a Passover festival for the Lord in Jerusalem. ¹  They slaughtered the Passover lambs on the fourteenth day of the first month.

Jehoahaz was twenty-three years old when he became king, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem.

Afterward they offered the continual burnt offerings and those for the new moons and those for all the holy assemblies of the Lord and all those that were being voluntarily offered to the Lord.

From the first day of the seventh month they began to offer burnt offerings to the Lord. However, the Lord’s temple was not at that time established. ¹ 

¹  The exiles ²  observed the Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month.

and on the first day of the first month they finished considering all the men who had married foreign wives.

On the twenty-fourth day of this same month the Israelites assembled; they were fasting and wearing sackcloth, their heads covered with dust.

Since man’s days ¹  are determined, ²  the number of his months is under your control; ³  you have set his limit ⁴  and he cannot pass it.

I hate your new moon festivals and assemblies; they are a burden that I am tired of carrying.

Since it was the ninth month of the year, the king was sitting in his winter quarters. ¹  A fire was burning in the firepot in front of him. ² 

In the eleventh year, on the first day of the month, ¹  the word of the Lord came to me:

In the tenth year, in the tenth month, on the twelfth day of the month, ¹  the word of the Lord came to me:

In the twenty-seventh year, in the first month, on the first day of the month, ¹  the word of the Lord came to me:

In the eleventh year, in the first month, on the seventh day of the month, ¹  the word of the Lord came to me:

In the eleventh year, in the third month, on the first day of the month, ¹  the word of the Lord came to me:

In the twelfth year, on the fifteenth day of the month, ¹  the word of the Lord came to me:

For seven months Israel ¹  will bury them, in order to cleanse the land.

This is what you must do on the seventh day of the month for anyone who sins inadvertently or through ignorance; so you will make atonement for the temple.

The people of the land will bow down at the entrance of that gate before the Lord on the Sabbaths and on the new moons.

On the day of the new moon he will offer ¹  an unblemished young bull, and six lambs and a ram, all without blemish.
