They will eat the meat the same night; ¹  they will eat it roasted over the fire with bread made without yeast ²  and with bitter herbs.

Make for them linen undergarments to cover their naked bodies; ¹  they must cover ²  from the waist to the thighs.

“You are to take the ram of the consecration and cook ¹  its meat in a holy place. ²

The one who touches the body ¹  of the man with a discharge must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.

“‘No man is to approach any close relative ¹  to have sexual intercourse with her. ²  I am the Lord. ³ 

You must not slash your body for a dead person ¹  or incise a tattoo on yourself. ²  I am the Lord.

Priests ¹  must not have a bald spot shaved on their head, they must not shave the corner of their beard, and they must not cut slashes in their body. ² 

Do not let her be like a baby born dead, whose flesh is half-consumed when it comes out of its ¹  mother’s womb!”

And their meat will be yours, just as the breast and the right hip of the raised offering is yours.

The one who burns it ¹  must wash his clothes in water and bathe himself in water. He will be ceremonially unclean until evening.

“Let the Lord, the God of the spirits of all humankind, ¹  appoint ²  a man over the community,
