He told them, “This kind can come out only by prayer.” ¹ 

They went out from there and passed through Galilee. But ¹  Jesus ²  did not want anyone to know,

Jesus said to them, “Have you come with swords and clubs to arrest me like you would an outlaw? ¹ 

Now ¹  in those days a decree ²  went out from Caesar ³  Augustus ⁴  to register ⁵  all the empire ⁶  for taxes.

The ¹  whole crowd was trying to touch him, because power ²  was coming out from him and healing them all.

This ¹  report ²  about Jesus ³  circulated ⁴  throughout ⁵  Judea and all the surrounding country.

But Jesus said, “Someone touched me, for I know that power has gone out ¹  from me.”

But whenever ¹  you enter a town ²  and the people ³  do not welcome ⁴  you, go into its streets ⁵  and say,

When he went out from there, the experts in the law ¹  and the Pharisees began to oppose him bitterly, ²  and to ask him hostile questions ³  about many things,

But the older son ¹  became angry ²  and refused ³  to go in. His father came out and appealed to him,

but on the day Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. ¹ 

Then they picked up ¹  stones to throw at him, ²  but Jesus hid himself and went out from the temple area. ³ 

Then Jesus, because he knew everything that was going to happen to him, ¹  came and asked them, “Who are you looking for?” ² 

So Pilate came outside to them and said, “What accusation ¹  do you bring against this man?” ² 

and carrying his own cross ¹  he went out to the place called “The Place of the Skull” ²  (called in Aramaic ³  Golgotha). ⁴ 

But one of the soldiers pierced ¹  his side with a spear, and blood and water ²  flowed out immediately.

but Paul chose Silas and set out, commended ¹  to the grace of the Lord by the brothers and sisters. ² 

After he spent ¹  some time there, Paul left and went through the region of Galatia ²  and Phrygia, ³  strengthening all the disciples.

Then Paul ¹  went back upstairs, ²  and after he had broken bread and eaten, he talked with them ³  a long time, until dawn. Then he left.

For which ones heard and rebelled? Was it not all who came out of Egypt under Moses’ leadership? ¹
