And he said to mankind, ‘The fear of the Lord ¹  – that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding.’” ² 

Turn away from evil and do what is right! ¹  Strive for peace and promote it! ² 

Turn away from me, you evil men, so that I can observe ¹  the commands of my God. ² 

Do not let them depart ¹  from your sight, guard ²  them within your heart; ³ 

Train ¹  a child ²  in the way that he should go, ³  and when he is old he will not turn from it. ⁴ 

So King Sennacherib of Assyria broke camp and went on his way. He went home and stayed in Nineveh. ¹ 

I will exhaust my rage on you, and then my fury will turn from you. I will calm down and no longer be angry.

So ¹  when the devil ²  had completed every temptation, he departed from him until a more opportune time. ³ 

So the elders of Moab and the elders of Midian departed with the fee for divination in their hand. They came to Balaam and reported ¹  to him the words of Balak.

She said, “I agree to these conditions.” ¹  She sent them on their way ²  and then tied the red rope in the window.

“Then he will say ¹  to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you accursed, into the eternal fire that has been prepared for the devil and his angels!

When they came out of the prison, they entered Lydia’s house, and when they saw the brothers, they encouraged them and then ¹  departed.

They traveled from Succoth, and camped in Etham, which is on the edge of the wilderness.

Now when ¹  Jesus finished these parables, he moved on from there.

And he placed his hands on them and went on his way. ¹ 

And they began to beg ¹  him not to order ²  them to depart into the abyss. ³ 

he left Judea and set out once more for Galilee. ¹ 

They also took Abram’s nephew ¹  Lot and his possessions when ²  they left, for Lot ³  was living in Sodom. ⁴ 

But Hobab ¹  said to him, “I will not go, but I will go instead to my own land and to my kindred.”
