Every living creature which swarms where the river ¹  flows will live; there will be many fish, for these waters flow there. It will become fresh ²  and everything will live where the river flows.

anything that crawls ¹  on the ground, or any fish in the deep waters of the earth. ² 

ants are creatures with little strength, but they prepare ¹  their food in the summer;

rock badgers ¹  are creatures with little power, but they make their homes in the crags;

And all living things ¹  that moved on the earth died, including the birds, domestic animals, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all humankind.

Every living creature, every creeping thing, every bird, and everything that moves on the earth went out of the ark in their groups.

“‘These you can eat from all creatures that are in the water: Any creatures in the water that have both fins and scales, ¹  whether in the seas or in the streams, ²  you may eat.

Each one of the four living creatures had six wings ¹  and was full of eyes all around and inside. ²  They never rest day or night, saying: ³  “Holy Holy Holy is the Lord God, the All-Powerful, ⁴  Who was and who is, and who is still to come!”

Then ¹  I saw standing in the middle of the throne ²  and of the four living creatures, and in the middle of the elders, a Lamb that appeared to have been killed. ³  He had ⁴  seven horns and seven eyes, which ⁵  are the seven ⁶  spirits of God ⁷  sent out into all the earth.

and when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders threw themselves to the ground ¹  before the Lamb. Each ²  of them had a harp and golden bowls full of incense (which are the prayers of the saints). ³ 

They entered, ¹  along with every living creature after its kind, every animal after its kind, every creeping thing that creeps on the earth after its kind, and every bird after its kind, everything with wings. ² 

Do not curse a king even in your thoughts, and do not curse the rich ¹  while in your bedroom; ²  for a bird ³  might report what you are thinking, ⁴  or some winged creature ⁵  might repeat your ⁶  words. ⁷ 

When the local people ¹  saw the creature hanging from Paul’s ²  hand, they said to one another, “No doubt this man is a murderer! Although he has escaped from the sea, Justice herself ³  has not allowed him to live!” ⁴ 

Pairs ¹  of clean animals, of unclean animals, of birds, and of everything that creeps along the ground,

Pairs ¹  of all creatures ²  that have the breath of life came into the ark to Noah.

These you may eat from among water creatures: anything with fins and scales you may eat,

All of your creatures ¹  wait for you to provide them with food on a regular basis. ² 

When they moved they would go in any of the four directions they faced without turning as they moved.

In it ¹  were all kinds of four-footed animals and reptiles ²  of the earth and wild birds. ³ 

that the creation itself will also be set free from the bondage of decay into the glorious freedom of God’s children.
