Disarming ¹  the rulers and authorities, he has made a public disgrace of them, triumphing over them by the cross. ²

The ¹  ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but will receive ruling authority ²  as kings with the beast for one hour.

These men worked for Solomon as supervisors; there were a total of 250 of them who were in charge of the people. ¹ 

When the righteous become numerous, ¹  the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan. ²

He told them, “You are not permitted to know ¹  the times or periods that the Father has set by his own authority.

When the wicked increase, ¹  transgression increases, but the righteous will see ²  their downfall.

Then the Lord’s angel said to her, “Return to your mistress and submit ¹  to her authority.

As for the rest of the beasts, their ruling authority had already been removed, though they were permitted to go on living ¹  for a time and a season.

I wrote something to the church, ¹  but Diotrephes, ²  who loves to be first among them, does not acknowledge us. ³
