God saw ¹  the Israelites, and God understood…. ² 

You have been taught that the Lord alone is God – there is no other besides him.

(They gave their word ¹  to send away their wives; their guilt offering was a ram from the flock for their guilt.)

Make then my pledge ¹  with you. Who else will put up security for me? ² 

There are those ¹  who rebel against the light; they do not know its ways and they do not stay on its paths.

And further, ¹  when you say that his anger does not punish, ²  and that he does not know transgression! ³ 

Acknowledge the majesty of the Lord’s reputation! ¹  Worship the Lord in holy attire! ² 

and all people will fear. ¹  They will proclaim ²  what God has done, and reflect on his deeds.

Acknowledge God’s power, ¹  his sovereignty over Israel, and the power he reveals in the skies! ² 

but when the hot wind ¹  blows by, it disappears, and one can no longer even spot the place where it once grew.

so that mankind ¹  might acknowledge your mighty acts, and the majestic splendor of your kingdom.

The beginning ¹  of wisdom is to fear the Lord, ²  and acknowledging ³  the Holy One ⁴  is understanding.

Fools mock ¹  at reparation, ²  but among the upright there is favor. ³ 

They do one act of violence after another, and one deceitful thing after another. ¹  They refuse to pay attention to me,” ²  says the Lord.

The one who has accepted his testimony has confirmed clearly that God is truthful. ¹ 

More and more believers in the Lord were added to their number, ¹  crowds of both men and women.

But if I do what I don’t want, I agree that the law is good. ¹ 

and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

Who is the liar but the person who denies that Jesus is the Christ ¹ ? This one is the antichrist: the person who denies the Father and the Son.
