When all your people Israel pray and ask for help, ¹  as they acknowledge their pain ²  and spread out their hands toward this temple,

When they hear about your great reputation ¹  and your ability to accomplish mighty deeds, ²  they will come and direct their prayers toward this temple.

How can I repay the Lord for all his acts of kindness to me?

Under the platform their wings were stretched out, each toward the other. Each of the beings also had two wings covering ¹  its body.
