if the infection ¹  in the garment or leather or warp or woof or any article of leather is yellowish green or reddish, it is a diseased infection and it must be shown to the priest.

“This is the law for all diseased infections, for scall, ¹ 

But if the priest examines the scall infection and it does not appear to be deeper than the skin, ¹  and there is no black hair in it, then the priest is to quarantine the person with the scall infection for seven days. ² 

I will put tendons ¹  on you and muscles over you and will cover you with skin; I will put breath ²  in you and you will live. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”

When the Israelites would see ¹  the face of Moses, that ²  the skin of Moses’ face shone, Moses would put the veil on his face again, until he went in to speak with the Lord. ³ 

They slaughtered the Passover lambs and the priests splashed the blood, ¹  while the Levites skinned the animals.

and he must wash in water any clothing or leather that has semen on it, and it will be unclean until evening.

Then they must put it with all its utensils in a covering of fine leather, and put it on a carrying beam. ¹ 

The priest must then examine it on the seventh day, and if, ¹  as far as he can see, the infection has stayed the same ²  and has not spread on the skin, ³  then the priest is to quarantine the person for another seven days. ⁴ 

Then God enabled Hagar to see a well of water. ¹  She went over and filled the skin with water, and then gave the boy a drink.

But the meat of the bull, its skin, and its dung you are to burn up ¹  outside the camp. ²  It is the purification offering. ³ 

When Aaron and all the Israelites saw Moses, the skin of his face shone; ¹  and they were afraid to approach him.

“When someone has a diseased infection, ¹  he must be brought to the priest.

But the hide of the bull, all its flesh along with its head and its legs, its entrails, and its dung –

But if the priest examines it and ¹  the infection has not spread in the garment or in the warp or in the woof or in any article of leather,

The priest must then examine it again on the seventh day, ¹  and if ²  the infection has faded and has not spread on the skin, then the priest is to pronounce the person clean. ³  It is a scab, ⁴  so he must wash his clothes ⁵  and be clean.

¹ Now when Moses came down ²  from Mount Sinai with ³  the two tablets of the testimony in his hand ⁴  – when he came down ⁵  from the mountain, Moses ⁶  did not know that the skin of his face shone ⁷  while he talked with him.

“But Esau my brother is a hairy man,” Jacob protested to his mother Rebekah, “and I have smooth skin! ¹ 

“‘As for the priest who presents someone’s burnt offering, the hide of that burnt offering which he presented belongs to him.

You must purify each garment and everything that is made of skin, everything made of goat’s hair, and everything made of wood.” ¹
