Their fellow Levites were in charge of the storehouses ¹  in God’s temple and the storehouses containing consecrated items.

They did not neglect any detail of the king’s orders pertaining to the priests, Levites, and treasuries. ¹ 

The priests and Levites who lived throughout Israel supported him, no matter where they resided. ¹ 

Then some Levites, from the Kohathites and Korahites, got up and loudly praised the Lord God of Israel. ¹ 

Preparations were made, ¹  and the priests stood at their posts and the Levites in their divisions as prescribed by the king.

The people ¹  of Israel – the priests, the Levites, and the rest of the exiles ²  – observed the dedication of this temple of God with joy.

They appointed the priests by their divisions and the Levites by their divisions over the worship of God at Jerusalem, ¹  in accord with ²  the book of Moses.

From the Levites: Jozabad, Shimei, Kelaiah (also known as Kelita), Pethahiah, Judah, and Eliezer.

When the wall had been rebuilt and I had positioned the doors, and the gatekeepers, the singers, and the Levites had been appointed,

The Levites: the descendants of Jeshua (through Kadmiel, through the line of Hodaviah), 74.

Then the Levites quieted all the people saying, “Be quiet, for this day is holy. Do not grieve.”

From the Levites: Shemaiah son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni;

And the rest of the Israelites, with the priests and the Levites, were in all the cities of Judah, each on his own property.

These are the priests and Levites who returned ¹  with Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,

Please remember them, O my God, because they have defiled the priesthood, the covenant of the priesthood, ¹  and the Levites.

So I purified them of everything foreign, and I assigned specific ¹  duties to the priests and the Levites.

And I will choose some of them as priests and Levites,” says the Lord.

It will be their portion from the allotment of the land, a most holy place, next to the border of the Levites.

They were accompanied by the Levites Shemaiah, Nethaniah, Zebadiah, Asahel, Shemiramoth, Jehonathan, Adonijah, Tobijah, and Tob-Adonijah, and by the priests Elishama and Jehoram.

And take ¹  the Levites for me – I am the Lord – instead of all the firstborn males among the Israelites, and the livestock of the Levites instead of all the firstborn of the livestock of the Israelites.”
