My strength leaves me; ¹  I am absolutely shocked. ² 

Our Lord is great and has awesome power; ¹  there is no limit to his wisdom. ² 

Keep yourself ¹  far ²  from her, and do not go near the door of her house,

“Futile! Futile!” laments ¹  the Teacher, ²  “Absolutely futile! ³  Everything ⁴  is futile!” ⁵ 

Surely the king’s authority ¹  is absolute; ²  no one can say ³  to him, “What are you doing?”

All the nations are insignificant before him; they are regarded as absolutely nothing. ¹ 

“I absolutely despise ¹  your festivals! I get no pleasure ²  from your religious assemblies!

And whatever you ask in prayer, if you believe, ¹  you will receive.”

So ¹  the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, ²  Mary, for you have found favor ³  with God!

You will know at that time ¹  that I am in my Father and you are in me and I am in you.

He was ¹  fully convinced that what God ²  promised he was also able to do.

Absolutely not! How can we who died to sin still live in it?

On the contrary, those members that seem to be weaker are essential,

For we are concerned about what is right not only before the Lord but also before men. ¹ 

I assure you ¹  that, before God, I am not lying about what I am writing to you! ² 

“Tell Aaron and his sons, ‘This is the law of the sin offering. In the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered the sin offering must be slaughtered before the Lord. It is most holy. ¹ 

He must then slaughter ¹  the male lamb in the place where ²  the sin offering ³  and the burnt offering ⁴  are slaughtered, ⁵  in the sanctuary, because, like the sin offering, the guilt offering belongs to the priest; ⁶  it is most holy.

The bull of the sin offering and the goat of the sin offering, whose blood was brought to make atonement in the holy place, must be brought outside the camp ¹  and their hide, their flesh, and their dung must be burned up, ² 

You must offer your burnt offerings, both meat and blood, on the altar of the Lord your God; the blood of your other sacrifices ¹  you must pour out on his ²  altar while you eat the meat.

Then the priests slaughtered them. They offered their blood as a sin offering on the altar to make atonement for all Israel, because the king had decreed ¹  that the burnt sacrifice and sin offering were for all Israel.
