Just then, ¹  while she was still speaking to the king, Nathan the prophet arrived.

How, sir, am I able to speak with you? ¹  My strength is gone, ²  and I am breathless.”

But Peter said, “Man, I don’t know what you’re talking about!” At that moment, ¹  while he was still speaking, a rooster crowed. ² 

They ¹  said to each other, “Didn’t ²  our hearts ³  burn within us ⁴  while he was speaking with us on the road, while he was explaining ⁵  the scriptures to us?”

and their message will spread its infection ¹  like gangrene. Hymenaeus and Philetus are in this group. ²

Then I asked one nearby, “What are these, sir?” The angelic messenger ¹  who replied to me said, “I will show you what these are.”

Then he began to curse, and he swore with an oath, “I do not know this man you are talking about!”

Then Paul ¹  went back upstairs, ²  and after he had broken bread and eaten, he talked with them ³  a long time, until dawn. Then he left.

“How long until you ¹  make an end of words? ²  You must consider, ³  and then ⁴  we can talk.

When you walk about, ¹  they ²  will guide you; when you lie down, they will watch over you; when you wake up, ³  they will talk ⁴  to you.

So I asked the angelic messenger ¹  who spoke with me, “What are these?” He replied, “These are the horns ²  that have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.” ³ 

After this the angelic messenger ¹  who had been speaking to me went out and said, “Look, see what is leaving.”

While Jesus ¹  was still speaking to the crowds, ²  his mother and brothers ³  came and ⁴  stood outside, asking ⁵  to speak to him.

All ¹  their neighbors were filled with fear, and throughout the entire hill country of Judea all these things were talked about.

I will not speak with you much longer, ¹  for the ruler of this world is coming. ²  He has no power over me, ³ 

The officials may hear that I have talked with you. They may come to you and say, ‘Tell us what you said to the king and what the king said to you. ¹  Do not hide anything from us. If you do, we will kill you.’ ²
