Rage takes hold of me because of the wicked, those who reject your law.

The ropes of the wicked tighten around ¹  me, but I do not forget your law.

The wicked prepare to kill me, ¹  yet I concentrate on your rules.

The wicked lay a trap for me, but I do not wander from your precepts.

You remove all the wicked of the earth like slag. ¹  Therefore I love your rules. ² 

The wicked have no chance for deliverance, ¹  for they do not seek your statutes.

The Lord is just; he cut the ropes of the wicked.” ¹ 

If only ¹  you would kill the wicked, O God! Get away from me, you violent men! ² 

Let the wicked fall ¹  into their ²  own nets, while I escape. ³ 

The Lord protects those who love him, but he destroys all the wicked.

The Lord lifts up the oppressed, but knocks ¹  the wicked to the ground.

to deliver ¹  you from the way of the wicked, ²  from those ³  speaking perversity, ⁴ 

You will not be afraid ¹  of sudden ²  disaster, ³  or when destruction overtakes ⁴  the wicked; ⁵ 

a heart that devises wicked plans, ¹  feet that are swift to run ²  to evil,

Whoever corrects ¹  a mocker is asking for ²  insult; ³  whoever reproves a wicked person receives ⁴  abuse.

The Lord satisfies ¹  the appetite ²  of the righteous, but he thwarts ³  the craving ⁴  of the wicked.

Blessings ¹  are on the head of the righteous, but the speech ²  of the wicked conceals ³  violence. ⁴ 

The memory ¹  of the righteous is a blessing, but the reputation ²  of the wicked will rot. ³ 

The reward ¹  which the righteous receive ²  is life; the recompense ³  which the wicked receive ⁴  is judgment. ⁵ 

What the wicked fears ¹  will come on him; what the righteous desire ²  will be granted. ³
