He then said to his disciple, “Look, here is your mother!” From that very time ¹  the disciple took her into his own home.

When it was already very early morning, Jesus stood on the beach, but the disciples did not know that it was Jesus.

So Paul stood ¹  before the Areopagus and said, “Men of Athens, I see that you are very religious ²  in all respects. ³ 

came ¹  to me and stood beside me ²  and said to me, ‘Brother Saul, regain your sight!’ ³  And at that very moment ⁴  I looked up and saw him. ⁵ 

“And in the very place ¹  where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ there they will be called ‘sons of the living God.’” ² 

as it is written, “God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that would not see and ears that would not hear, to this very day.” ¹ 

Now the one who prepared us for this very purpose ¹  is God, who gave us the Spirit as a down payment. ² 

because he not only accepted our request, but since he was very eager, ¹  he is coming ²  to you of his own accord. ³ 

He, the very one ¹  who descended, is also the one who ascended above all the heavens, in order to fill all things.

I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know our circumstances ¹  and that he may encourage your hearts.

For I am sure of this very thing, ¹  that the one ²  who began a good work in ³  you will perfect it ⁴  until the day of Christ Jesus.

May the Lord grant him to find mercy from the Lord on that day! ¹  And you know very well all the ways he served me in Ephesus. ² 

I, Paul, have written ¹  this letter ²  with my own hand: ³  I will repay it. I could also mention that you owe ⁴  me your very self.

But these men do not understand the things they slander, and they are being destroyed by the very things that, like irrational animals, they instinctively comprehend. ¹ 

Then ¹  Jesus ²  got up early in the morning when it was still very dark, departed, and went out to a deserted place, and there he spent time in prayer. ³ 

There was also a prophetess, Anna the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was very old, ¹  having been married to her husband for seven years until his death.

Then ¹  the experts in the law ²  and the chief priests wanted to arrest ³  him that very hour, because they realized he had told this parable against them. But ⁴  they were afraid of the people.

When ¹  Herod saw Jesus, he was very glad, for he had long desired to see him, because he had heard about him and was hoping to see him perform ²  some miraculous sign. ³ 

Now at that very moment his disciples came back. ¹  They were shocked ²  because he was speaking ³  with a woman. However, no one said, “What do you want?” ⁴  or “Why are you speaking with her?”
