They will not be ashamed when hard times come; ¹  when famine comes they will have enough to eat. ² 

Why should I be afraid in times of trouble, ¹  when the sinful deeds of deceptive men threaten to overwhelm me? ² 

Trust in him at all times, you people! Pour out your hearts before him! ¹  God is our shelter! (Selah)

Many times he delivered ¹  them, but they had a rebellious attitude, ²  and degraded themselves ³  by their sin.

We existed from ancient times, ¹  but you did not rule over them, they were not your subjects. ² 

There are times, Jeremiah, ¹  when I threaten to uproot, tear down, and destroy a nation or kingdom. ² 

The food you eat will be eight ounces ¹  a day by weight; you must eat it at fixed ²  times.

And you must drink water by measure, a pint and a half; ¹  you must drink it at fixed times.

The offerings ¹  of Judah and Jerusalem ²  will be pleasing to the Lord as in former times and years past.

When Isaac planted in that land, he reaped in the same year a hundred times what he had sown, ¹  because the Lord blessed him. ² 

but your father has humiliated ¹  me and changed my wages ten times. But God has not permitted him to do me any harm.

But Jacob ¹  himself went on ahead of them, and he bowed toward the ground seven times as he approached ²  his brother.

and sprinkle it seven times on the one being cleansed ¹  from the disease, pronounce him clean, ²  and send the live bird away over the open countryside. ³ 

and sprinkle some of the olive oil that is in his left hand with his right forefinger ¹  seven times before the Lord.

Then he is to sprinkle on it some of the blood with his finger seven times, and cleanse and consecrate it ¹  from the impurities of the Israelites.

“‘You must count off ¹  seven weeks of years, seven times seven years, ²  and the days of the seven weeks of years will amount to forty-nine years. ³ 

“‘If, in spite of all these things, ¹  you do not obey me, I will discipline you seven times more on account of your sins. ² 

“‘If you walk in hostility against me ¹  and are not willing to obey me, I will increase your affliction ²  seven times according to your sins.

I will walk in hostile rage against you ¹  and I myself will also discipline you seven times on account of your sins.

Then the Lord opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam, “What have I done to you that you have beaten me these three times?”
