Please forgive ¹  the iniquity of this people according to your great loyal love, ²  just as you have forgiven this people from Egypt even until now.”

“Please, Lord. Remember how I have served you ¹  faithfully and with wholehearted devotion, ²  and how I have carried out your will.” ³  Then Hezekiah wept bitterly. ⁴ 

David said to God, “I have sinned greatly by doing this! Now, please remove the guilt of your servant, for I have acted very foolishly.”

Then I said, “Please, O LORD God of heaven, great and awesome God, who keeps his loving covenant ¹  with those who love him and obey ²  his commandments,

I also provided for ¹  the wood offering at the appointed times and also for the first fruits. Please remember me for good, O my God.

My God, I trust in you. Please do not let me be humiliated; do not let my enemies triumphantly rejoice over me!
