If he is uprooted ¹  from his place, then that place ²  will disown him, saying, ³  ‘I have never seen you!’

If you lay your hand on it, you will remember ¹  the fight, and you will never do it again!

They say, ¹  ‘An awful disease ²  overwhelms him, ³  and now that he is bed-ridden he will never recover.’ ⁴ 

Throw your burden ¹  upon the Lord, and he will sustain you. ²  He will never allow the godly to be upended. ³ 

For he never bothered to show kindness; ¹  he harassed the oppressed and needy, and killed the disheartened. ² 

lest the one who hears it put you to shame and your infamy ¹  will never go away.

the grave, ¹  the barren womb, ²  land that is not satisfied with water, and fire that never says, “Enough!” ³ 

though it never saw the light of day ¹  nor knew anything, ²  yet it has more rest ³  than that man –

For ¹  there is not one truly ²  righteous person on the earth who continually does good and never sins.

Israel will be delivered once and for all by the Lord; ¹  you will never again be ashamed or humiliated. ² 

For I, the Lord, promise: “David will never lack a successor to occupy ¹  the throne over the nation of Israel. ² 

“At that time,” ¹  declares the Lord, “you will call, ²  ‘My husband’; ³  you will never again call me, ⁴  ‘My master.’ ⁵ 

My people are obsessed ¹  with turning away from me; ²  they call to Baal, ³  but he will never exalt them!

The Lord confirms this oath ¹  by the arrogance of Jacob: ²  “I swear ³  I will never forget all you have done! ⁴ 

I thought ¹  I had been banished from your sight, ²  that I would never again ³  see your holy temple! ⁴ 

“You should fear me!” says the Lord. “You should tremble in awe before me! ¹  I made the sand to be a boundary for the sea, a permanent barrier that it can never cross. Its waves may roll, but they can never prevail. They may roar, but they can never cross beyond that boundary.” ² 

They have built places here ¹  for worship of the god Baal so that they could sacrifice their children as burnt offerings to him in the fire. Such sacrifices ²  are something I never commanded them to make! They are something I never told them to do! Indeed, such a thing never even entered my mind!

Israel said to Joseph, “I never expected ¹  to see you ²  again, but now God has allowed me to see your children ³  too.”

There will be a great cry throughout the whole land of Egypt, such as there has never been, ¹  nor ever will be again. ² 

This is ¹  a perpetual statute throughout your generations ²  in all the places where you live: You must never eat any fat or any blood.’” ³
