The one who guards his mouth and his tongue ¹  keeps his life ²  from troubles. ³ 

Wisdom is unattainable ¹  for a fool; in court ²  he does not open his mouth. ³ 

A lying tongue ¹  hates those crushed by it, and a flattering mouth works ruin. ² 

Let another ¹  praise you, and not your own mouth; ²  someone else, ³  and not your own lips.

Open your mouth, judge in righteousness, ¹  and plead the cause ²  of the poor and needy.
