I have been crucified with Christ, ¹  and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So ²  the life I now live in the body, ³  I live because of the faithfulness of the Son of God, ⁴  who loved me and gave himself for me.

But he answered, ¹  “It is written, ‘Man ²  does not live ³  by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” ⁴ 

He asked him urgently, “My little daughter is near death. Come and lay your hands on her so that she may be healed and live.”

The Pharisees and the experts in the law asked him, “Why do your disciples not live according to the tradition of the elders, but eat ¹  with unwashed hands?”

For they all gave out of their wealth. ¹  But she, out of her poverty, put in what she had to live on, everything she had.” ² 

What ¹  did you go out to see? A man dressed in fancy ²  clothes? ³  Look, those who wear fancy clothes and live in luxury ⁴  are in kings’ courts! ⁵ 

For they all offered their gifts out of their wealth. ¹  But she, out of her poverty, put in everything she had to live on.” ² 

Jesus told him, “Go home; ¹  your son will live.” The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and set off for home. ² 

While he was on his way down, ¹  his slaves ²  met him and told him that his son was going to live.

Then the father realized that it was the very time ¹  Jesus had said to him, “Your son will live,” and he himself believed along with his entire household.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live ¹  even if he dies,

Jesus replied, ¹  “If I want him to live ²  until I come back, ³  what concern is that of yours? You follow me!”

The God who made the world and everything in it, ¹  who is ²  Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by human hands, ³ 

For in him we live and move about ¹  and exist, as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we too are his offspring.’ ² 

A man named Ananias, ¹  a devout man according to the law, ²  well spoken of by all the Jews who live there, ³ 

For the righteousness ¹  of God is revealed in the gospel ²  from faith to faith, ³  just as it is written, “The righteous by faith will live.” ⁴ 

For Moses writes about the righteousness that is by the law: “The one who does these things will live by them.” ¹ 

Let us live decently as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in discord and jealousy.

For it is written, “As I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow to me, and every tongue will give praise to God.” ¹ 

And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is happy to live with her, she should not divorce him.
