For this very reason, ¹  make every effort ²  to add to your faith excellence, ³  to excellence, knowledge;

to knowledge, self-control; to self-control, perseverance; ¹  to perseverance, godliness;

For we were born yesterday ¹  and do not have knowledge, since our days on earth are but a shadow. ² 

For in truth, my words are not false; it is one complete ¹  in knowledge who is with you.

But if they refuse to listen, they pass over the river of death, ¹  and expire without knowledge.

Do you know about the balancing ¹  of the clouds, that wondrous activity of him who is perfect in knowledge?

Does the one who disciplines the nations not punish? He is the one who imparts knowledge to human beings!

Your knowledge is beyond my comprehension; it is so far beyond me, I am unable to fathom it. ¹ 

“How long will you simpletons ¹  love naiveté? ²  How long ³  will mockers ⁴  delight ⁵  in mockery ⁶  and fools ⁷  hate knowledge?

With his speech ¹  the godless person ²  destroys ³  his neighbor, but by knowledge ⁴  the righteous will be delivered.

The tongue of the wise ¹  treats knowledge correctly, ²  but the mouth of the fool spouts out ³  folly.

It is dangerous ¹  to have zeal ²  without knowledge, and the one who acts hastily ³  makes poor choices. ⁴ 

There is gold, and an abundance of rubies, but ¹  words of knowledge ²  are like ³  a precious jewel.

When a scorner is punished, the naive ¹  becomes wise; when a wise person is instructed, ²  he gains knowledge.

The righteous person cares for ¹  the legal rights ²  of the poor; the wicked does not understand such ³  knowledge.

I will give you leaders ¹  who will be faithful to me. ²  They will lead you with knowledge and insight.

The Lord gave me knowledge, that I might have understanding. ¹  Then he showed me what the people were doing. ² 

For you were made rich ¹  in every way in him, in all your speech and in every kind of knowledge ²  –

And I pray this, that your love may abound even more and more in knowledge and every kind of insight

since he wants ¹  all people ²  to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
