Just as you were formerly disobedient to God, but have now received mercy due to their disobedience,

For just as in one body we have many members, and not all the members serve the same function,

But we who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak, and not just please ourselves. ¹ 

For just as woman came from man, so man comes through woman. But all things come from God.

But as a matter of fact, God has placed each of the members in the body just as he decided.

For just as the sufferings ¹  of Christ ²  overflow ³  toward us, so also our comfort through Christ overflows to you. ⁴ 

Therefore, since we have this ministry, just as God has shown us mercy, ¹  we do not become discouraged. ² 

Just as it is written, “He ¹  has scattered widely, he has given to the poor; his righteousness remains forever.” ² 

There is one body and one Spirit, just as you too were called to the one hope of your calling,

if indeed you heard about him and were taught in him, just as the truth is in Jesus.

Instead, ¹  be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ also forgave you. ² 

rooted ¹  and built up in him and firm ²  in your ³  faith just as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.

Little children, let no one deceive you: The one who practices righteousness ¹  is righteous, just as Jesus ²  is righteous.

just as I have received the right to rule ¹  from my Father – and I will give him the morning star. ² 

Then ¹  I heard the altar reply, ²  “Yes, Lord God, the All-Powerful, ³  your judgments are true and just!”

But the centurion replied, ¹  “Lord, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof. Instead, just say the word and my servant will be healed.

Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go; just as you believed, it will be done for you.” And the servant ¹  was healed at that hour.

just as the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom ¹  for many.”

For just like the lightning ¹  comes from the east and flashes to the west, so the coming of the Son of Man will be.
