And they began to beg ¹  him not to order ²  them to depart into the abyss. ³ 

Jesus ¹  looked up ²  and saw the rich putting their gifts into the offering box. ³ 

Now ¹  during the blessing ²  he departed ³  and was taken up into heaven. ⁴ 

The true light, who gives light to everyone, ¹  was coming into the world. ² 

(For his disciples had gone off into the town to buy supplies. ¹ ) ² 

This happened three times, and immediately the object was taken up into heaven. ¹ 

When ¹  I returned to Jerusalem and was praying in the temple, I fell into a trance ² 

However, ¹  Paul ²  shook ³  the creature off into the fire and suffered no harm.

or “Who will descend into the abyss?” ¹  (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).

and all were baptized ¹  into Moses in the cloud and in the sea,

For all of you who ¹  were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.

In him ¹  the whole building, ²  being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord,

When reading this, ¹  you will be able to ²  understand my insight into this secret ³  of Christ.

And Adam was not deceived, but the woman, because she was fully deceived, ¹  fell into transgression. ² 

But avoid profane chatter, ¹  because those occupied with it will stray further and further into ungodliness, ² 

It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

They will bring the grandeur and the wealth ¹  of the nations ²  into it,

And he said, ¹  “Go!” So ²  they came out and went into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep slope into the lake and drowned in the water.

And no one pours new wine into old wineskins; ¹  otherwise the skins burst and the wine is spilled out and the skins are destroyed. Instead they put new wine into new wineskins ²  and both are preserved.”
