You must celebrate the Festival of Temporary Shelters ¹  for seven days, at the time of the grain and grape harvest. ² 

They ate some of the produce of the land the day after the Passover, including unleavened bread and roasted grain. ¹ 

Then all of Judah brought the tithe of the grain, the new wine, and the olive oil to the storerooms.

You will come to your grave in a full age, ¹  As stacks of grain are harvested in their season.

The meadows are clothed with sheep, and the valleys are covered with grain. They shout joyfully, yes, they sing.

which cannot fill the reaper’s hand, or the lap of the one who gathers the grain!

People will curse ¹  the one who withholds grain, ²  but they will praise ³  the one who sells it. ⁴ 

How precious and fair! ¹  Grain will make the young men flourish and new wine the young women.

There will be two women grinding grain with a mill; ¹  one will be taken and one left.

Other seed fell among the thorns, ¹  and they grew up and choked it, ²  and it did not produce grain.

By itself the soil produces a crop, first the stalk, then the head, then the full grain in the head.

So when Jacob heard that there was grain ¹  in Egypt, he sent our ancestors ²  there ³  the first time.

Moreover, you must season every one of your grain offerings with salt; you must not allow the salt of the covenant of your God to be missing from your grain offering ¹  – on every one of your grain offerings you must present salt.

King Ahaz ordered Uriah the priest, “On the large altar ¹  offer the morning burnt sacrifice, the evening grain offering, the royal burnt sacrifices and grain offering, the burnt sacrifice for all the people of Israel, their grain offering, and their libations. Sprinkle all the blood of the burnt sacrifice and other sacrifices on it. The bronze altar will be for my personal use.” ² 

May God give you the dew of the sky ¹  and the richness ²  of the earth, and plenty of grain and new wine.

Then he fell asleep again and had a second dream: There were seven heads of grain growing ¹  on one stalk, healthy ²  and good.

The seven good cows represent seven years, and the seven good heads of grain represent seven years. Both dreams have the same meaning. ¹ 

Joseph stored up a vast amount of grain, like the sand of the sea, ¹  until he stopped measuring it because it was impossible to measure.

While the famine was over all the earth, ¹  Joseph opened the storehouses ²  and sold grain to the Egyptians. The famine was severe throughout the land of Egypt.

So Israel’s sons came to buy grain among the other travelers, ¹  for the famine was severe in the land of Canaan.
