And in this regard we pray for you always, that our God will make you worthy of his calling ¹  and fulfill by his power your every desire for goodness and every work of faith,

In the same way, every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad ¹  tree bears bad fruit.

I ¹  tell you that on the day of judgment, people will give an account for every worthless word they speak.

So ¹  when the devil ²  had completed every temptation, he departed from him until a more opportune time. ³ 

But Jesus, ¹  realizing their thoughts, said to them, ²  “Every kingdom divided against itself is destroyed, ³  and a divided household falls. ⁴ 

“There was a rich man who dressed in purple ¹  and fine linen and who feasted sumptuously ²  every day.

Every person ¹  who does not obey that prophet will be destroyed and thus removed ²  from the people.’ ³ 

but in every nation ¹  the person who fears him ²  and does what is right ³  is welcomed before him.

We are experiencing trouble on every side, ¹  but are not crushed; we are perplexed, ²  but not driven to despair;

And I pray this, that your love may abound even more and more in knowledge and every kind of insight

so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow – in heaven and on earth and under the earth –

I, Paul, write this greeting with my own hand, which is how I write in every letter. ¹ 

So I want the men ¹  to pray ²  in every place, lifting up holy hands ³  without anger or dispute.

For every creation of God is good and no food ¹  is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving.

Every scripture ¹  is inspired by God ²  and useful for teaching, for reproof, ³  for correction, and for training in righteousness,

showing yourself to be an example of good works in every way. In your teaching show integrity, dignity,

Remind them to be subject to rulers and ¹  authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work.

Make every effort to help ¹  Zenas the lawyer ²  and Apollos on their way; make sure they have what they need. ³ 

Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters! ¹  Let every person be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger.

For every kind of animal, bird, reptile, and sea creature ¹  is subdued and has been subdued by humankind. ²
