A generous person ¹  will be blessed, ²  for he gives some of his food ³  to the poor.

Her children rise up ¹  and call her blessed, her husband ²  also praises her:

Blessed is the one who waits and attains to the 1,335 days.

“Blessed ¹  are the poor in spirit, ²  for the kingdom of heaven belongs ³  to them.

“Blessed are those who hunger ¹  and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied.

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the children ¹  of God.

“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to them.

“But your eyes are blessed ¹  because they see, and your ears because they hear.

Blessed is that slave whom the master finds at work ¹  when he comes.

Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David! Hosanna in the highest!”

But he replied, ¹  “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey ²  it!”

Blessed is that slave ¹  whom his master finds at work ²  when he returns.

If you understand ¹  these things, you will be blessed if you do them.

“Blessed ¹  are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered;

blessed is the one ¹  against whom the Lord will never count ²  sin.” ³ 

So then those who believe ¹  are blessed along with Abraham the believer.

This ¹  accords with the glorious gospel of the blessed God ²  that was entrusted to me. ³ 

By faith also Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning the future.

So Jacob ¹  went over and kissed him. When Isaac caught the scent ²  of his clothing, he blessed him, saying, “Yes, ³  my son smells like the scent of an open field which the Lord has blessed.
