For if only in this life we have hope in Christ, we should be pitied more than anyone.

Do not lay hands on anyone ¹  hastily and so identify with the sins of others. ²  Keep yourself pure.

My brothers and sisters, ¹  if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone turns him back,

If anyone ¹  confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God resides ²  in him and he in God.

And if anyone will not welcome you or listen to your message, shake the dust off ¹  your feet as you leave that house or that town.

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If anyone wants to become my follower, ¹  he must deny ²  himself, take up his cross, ³  and follow me.

As they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, ¹  “Do not tell anyone about the vision until the Son of Man is raised from the dead.”

If anyone says anything to you, you are to say, ‘The Lord needs them,’ ¹  and he will send them at once.”

And, ‘Whoever swears by the altar is bound by nothing. ¹  But if anyone swears by the gift on it he is bound by the oath.’

But you say that if anyone tells his father or mother, ‘Whatever help you would have received from me is corban’ ¹  (that is, a gift for God),

After he sat down, he called the twelve and said to them, “If anyone wants to be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.”

If anyone says to you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord needs it ¹  and will send it back here soon.’”

Whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven will ¹  also forgive you your sins.” ² 

Then ¹  they went out and ran from the tomb, for terror and bewilderment had seized them. ²  And they said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid.

Now ¹  a woman was there who had been suffering from a hemorrhage ²  for twelve years ³  but could not be healed by anyone.

Then ¹  he said to them all, ²  “If anyone wants to become my follower, ³  he must deny ⁴  himself, take up his cross daily, ⁵  and follow me.

If anyone wants to do God’s will, ¹  he will know about my teaching, whether it is from God or whether I speak from my own authority. ² 

On the last day of the feast, the greatest day, ¹  Jesus stood up and shouted out, ²  “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me, and

“We are descendants ¹  of Abraham,” they replied, ²  “and have never been anyone’s slaves! How can you say, ³  ‘You will become free’?”

We know that God doesn’t listen to ¹  sinners, but if anyone is devout ²  and does his will, God ³  listens to ⁴  him. ⁵
