No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, ¹  and I will raise him up at the last day.

The one who eats ¹  my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. ² 

The one who rejects me and does not accept ¹  my words has a judge; ²  the word ³  I have spoken will judge him at the last day.

in a moment, in the blinking ¹  of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

Then ¹  I saw another great and astounding sign in heaven: seven angels who have seven final plagues ²  (they are final because in them God’s anger is completed).

from the descendants of Adonikam there were the latter ones. ¹  Their names were Eliphelet, Jeuel, and Shemaiah, and with them 60 men;

But man ¹  dies and is powerless; ²  he expires – and where is he? ³ 

for riches do not last ¹  forever, nor does a crown last ²  from generation to generation.

I have ¹  the power to do you harm, but the God of your father told me last night, ‘Be careful ²  that you neither bless nor curse Jacob.’ ³ 

When Jacob finished giving these instructions to his sons, he pulled his feet up onto the bed, breathed his last breath, and went ¹  to his people.

All those numbered of the camp of Dan are 157,600. They will travel last, under their standards.”

The one who tells the truth ¹  will endure forever, but the one who lies ²  will last only for a moment. ³ 

Listen to me, O Jacob, Israel, whom I summoned! I am the one; I am present at the very beginning and at the very end. ¹ 

On the last day of the feast, the greatest day, ¹  Jesus stood up and shouted out, ²  “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me, and

Then Isaac breathed his last and joined his ancestors. ¹  He died an old man who had lived a full life. ²  His sons Esau and Jacob buried him.

Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” ¹  And after he said this he breathed his last.

The king and all the people set out on foot, pausing ¹  at a spot ²  some distance away.

But the eyes of the wicked fail, ¹  and escape ²  eludes them; their one hope ³  is to breathe their last.” ⁴ 

(May those who hate the Lord ¹  cower in fear ²  before him! May they be permanently humiliated!) ³ 

For last night an angel of the God to whom I belong ¹  and whom I serve ²  came to me ³
