He restored the chief cupbearer to his former position ¹  so that he placed the cup in Pharaoh’s hand,

Israel settled in the land of Egypt, in the land of Goshen, and they owned land there. They were fruitful and increased rapidly in number.

Joseph lived in Egypt, along with his father’s family. ¹  Joseph lived 110 years.

So they got up early on the next day and offered up burnt offerings and brought peace offerings, and the people sat down to eat and drink, ¹  and they rose up to play. ²

God repaid Abimelech for the evil he did to his father by murdering his seventy half-brothers. ¹ 

He struck them down and defeated them. ¹  Then he went down and lived for a time in the cave in the cliff of Etam.

When the man got ready to leave, ¹  his father-in-law convinced him to stay another night. ²
