Rehoboam ¹  and Jeroboam were continually at war with each other throughout Abijah’s ²  lifetime.

Now Asa and King Baasha of Israel were continually at war with each other. ¹ 

Asa and King Nadab of Israel were continually at war with each other.

There was no war between Syria and Israel for three years. ¹ 

The king had them cast in earthen foundries ¹  in the region of the Jordan between Succoth and Zarethan.

Whenever your countrymen who live in the cities bring a case before you ¹  (whether it involves a violent crime ²  or other matters related to the law, commandments, rules, and regulations), warn them that they must not sin against the Lord. If you fail to do so, God will be angry with you and your colleagues; but if you obey, you will be free of guilt. ³ 

So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. ¹  It was so. ²
