I will greatly multiply your descendants,” the Lord’s angel added, ¹  “so that they will be too numerous to count.” ² 

Then God said to Abraham, “As for you, you must keep ¹  the covenantal requirement ²  I am imposing on you and your descendants after you throughout their generations.

Come, let’s make our father drunk with wine ¹  so we can have sexual relations ²  with him and preserve ³  our family line through our father.” ⁴ 

But I will also make the son of the slave wife into a great nation, for he is your descendant too.”

This is the law of the one with a discharge: the one who has a seminal emission ¹  and becomes unclean by it, ² 

You must not have sexual intercourse ¹  with the wife of your fellow citizen to become unclean with her.

You must not give any of your children as an offering to Molech, ¹  so that you do not profane ²  the name of your God. I am the Lord!

“‘Any tithe ¹  of the land, from the grain of the land or from the fruit of the trees, belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord.

But if the woman has not defiled herself, and is clean, then she will be free of ill effects ¹  and will be able to bear children.

He will pour the water out of his buckets, ¹  and their descendants will be like abundant ²  water; ³  their king will be greater than Agag, ⁴  and their kingdom will be exalted.

You must be certain to tithe ¹  all the produce of your seed that comes from the field year after year.

You must not plant your vineyard with two kinds of seed; otherwise the entire yield, both of the seed you plant and the produce of the vineyard, will be defiled. ¹ 

“You will take much seed to the field but gather little harvest, because locusts will consume it.
