You people ¹  judge by outward appearances; ²  I do not judge anyone. ³ 

And now, brothers, I know you acted in ignorance, ¹  as your rulers did too.

He addressed ¹  both Jews and Greeks in the synagogue ²  every Sabbath, attempting to persuade ³  them.

In this way the word of the Lord ¹  continued to grow in power ²  and to prevail. ³ 

At ¹  that time ²  a great disturbance ³  took place concerning the Way. ⁴ 

concerning his Son who was a descendant ¹  of David with reference to the flesh, ² 

Actually, there are many advantages. ¹  First of all, ²  the Jews ³  were entrusted with the oracles of God. ⁴ 

What then shall we say that Abraham, our ancestor according to the flesh, ¹  has discovered regarding this matter? ² 

For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.

For I delight in the law of God in my inner being.

So then, ¹  brothers and sisters, ²  we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh

Who will bring any charge against God’s elect? ¹  It is God who justifies.

For if God did not spare the natural branches, perhaps he will not spare you.

Am I saying these things only on the basis of common sense, ¹  or does the law not say this as well?

and that he was buried, and that he was raised ¹  on the third day according to the scriptures,

Since many ¹  are boasting according to human standards, ²  I too will boast.

For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the sake of the truth.

gentleness, and ¹  self-control. Against such things there is no law.

that ¹  by revelation the divine secret ²  was made known to me, as I wrote before briefly. ³ 

This was according to ¹  the eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord,
