Again Pilate went out and said to the Jewish leaders, ¹  “Look, I am bringing him out to you, so that you may know that I find no reason for an accusation ²  against him.”

So Jesus came outside, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. ¹  Pilate ²  said to them, “Look, here is the man!” ³ 

Thus one of the men ¹  who have accompanied us during all the time the Lord Jesus associated with ²  us,

So Peter ¹  invited them in and entertained them as guests. On the next day he got up and set out ²  with them, and some of the brothers from Joppa ³  accompanied him.

But after the disciples had surrounded him, he got up and went back ¹  into the city. On ²  the next day he left with Barnabas for Derbe. ³ 

After the disturbance had ended, Paul sent for the disciples, and after encouraging ¹  them and saying farewell, ²  he left to go to Macedonia. ³ 

By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place he would later receive as an inheritance, and he went out without understanding where he was going.

Then ¹  the winepress was stomped ²  outside the city, and blood poured out of the winepress up to the height of horses’ bridles ³  for a distance of almost two hundred miles. ⁴ 

Finally ¹  the seventh angel ²  poured out his bowl into the air and a loud voice came out of the temple from the throne, saying: “It is done!”

But the rest said, “Leave him alone! Let’s see if Elijah will come to save him.” ¹ 

Then Jesus and his disciples went to the villages of Caesarea Philippi. ¹  On the way he asked his disciples, ²  “Who do people say that I am?”

But ¹  Jesus rebuked him: ²  “Silence! Come out of him!” ³  Then, after the demon threw the man ⁴  down in their midst, he came out of him without hurting him. ⁵ 

“A sower went out to sow ¹  his seed. ²  And as he sowed, some fell along the path and was trampled on, and the wild birds ³  devoured it.

So ¹  the people went out to see what had happened, and they came to Jesus. They ²  found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting at Jesus’ feet, clothed and in his right mind, and they were afraid.

Then the people ¹  who were with Mary ²  in the house consoling her saw her ³  get up quickly and go out. They followed her, because they thought she was going to the tomb to weep ⁴  there.

The one who had died came out, his feet and hands tied up with strips of cloth, ¹  and a cloth wrapped around his face. ²  Jesus said to them, “Unwrap him ³  and let him go.”

When he had said these things, ¹  Jesus went out with his disciples across the Kidron Valley. ²  There was an orchard ³  there, and he and his disciples went into it.

But Simon Peter was left standing outside by the door. So the other disciple who was acquainted with the high priest came out and spoke to the slave girl who watched the door, ¹  and brought Peter inside.

Pilate asked, ¹  “What is truth?” ²  When he had said this he went back outside to the Jewish leaders ³  and announced, ⁴  “I find no basis for an accusation ⁵  against him.

She continued to do this for many days. But Paul became greatly annoyed, ¹  and turned ²  and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ ³  to come out of her!” And it came out of her at once. ⁴
