Since I wanted to know ¹  what charge they were accusing him of, ²  I brought him down to their council. ³ 

Through him ¹  we have received grace and our apostleship ²  to bring about the obedience ³  of faith ⁴  among all the Gentiles on behalf of his name.

Much more then, because we have now been declared righteous ¹  by his blood, ²  we will be saved through him from God’s wrath. ³ 

For sin, seizing the opportunity through the commandment, deceived me and through it I died. ¹ 

For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever! Amen.

Therefore after I have completed this and have safely delivered this bounty to them, ¹  I will set out for Spain by way of you,

God is faithful, by whom you were called into fellowship with his son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

So by your knowledge the weak brother or sister, ¹  for whom Christ died, is destroyed. ² 

and by which you are being saved, if you hold firmly to the message I preached to you – unless you believed in vain.

Then, when I arrive, I will send those whom you approve with letters of explanation to carry your gift to Jerusalem. ¹ 

and through your help to go on into Macedonia and then from Macedonia to come back ¹  to you and be helped on our way into Judea by you.

Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His plea ¹  through us. We plead with you ²  on Christ’s behalf, “Be reconciled to God!”

For if the inheritance is based on the law, it is no longer based on the promise, but God graciously gave ¹  it to Abraham through the promise.

But one, the son by the slave woman, was born by natural descent, ¹  while the other, the son by the free woman, was born through the promise.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision carries any weight – the only thing that matters is faith working through love. ¹ 

so that ¹  through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, ¹  stand firm and hold on to the traditions that we taught you, whether by speech or by letter. ² 

Such testimony is true. For this reason rebuke them sharply that they may be healthy in the faith

For if the message spoken through angels ¹  proved to be so firm that every violation ²  or disobedience received its just penalty,

Therefore it remains for some to enter it, yet those to whom it was previously proclaimed did not enter because of disobedience.
