The lord had compassion on that slave and released him, and forgave him the debt.

So leaving them again, he went away and prayed for the third time, saying the same thing once more.

He came and raised her up by gently taking her hand. Then the fever left her and she began to serve ¹  them.

When Jesus saw their ¹  faith, he said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” ² 

“Why does this man speak this way? He is blaspheming! ¹  Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

Peter began to speak to him, “Look, ¹  we have left everything to follow you!” ² 

There were seven brothers. The first one married, ¹  and when he died he had no children.

But Jesus said, “Leave her alone. Why are you bothering her? She has done a good service for me.

So ¹  he stood over her, commanded ²  the fever, and it left her. Immediately ³  she got up and began to serve ⁴  them.

When ¹  Jesus ²  saw their ³  faith he said, “Friend, ⁴  your sins are forgiven.” ⁵ 

Which is easier, ¹  to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Stand up and walk’?

But ¹  those who were at the table ²  with him began to say among themselves, “Who is this, who even forgives sins?”

Watch ¹  yourselves! If ²  your brother ³  sins, rebuke him. If ⁴  he repents, forgive him.

There will be two women grinding grain together; ¹  one will be taken and the other left.” ² 

And Peter said, “Look, we have left everything we own ¹  to follow you!” ² 

Then the woman left her water jar, went off into the town and said to the people, ¹ 

So Jesus said, “Leave her alone. She has kept it for the day of my burial. ¹ 

Jesus replied, ¹  “I told you that I am he. If you are looking for ²  me, let these men ³  go.” ⁴ 

(but if she does, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband), and a husband should not divorce his wife.

leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother and then come and present your gift.
