At that time, ¹  some Pharisees ²  came up and said to Jesus, ³  “Get away from here, ⁴  because Herod ⁵  wants to kill you.”

At ¹  the time for the banquet ²  he sent his slave ³  to tell those who had been invited, ‘Come, because everything is now ready.’

And after about an hour still another insisted, ¹  “Certainly this man was with him, because he too is a Galilean.” ² 

So ¹  they got up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem. ²  They ³  found the eleven and those with them gathered together

Jacob’s well was there, so Jesus, since he was tired from the journey, sat right down beside ¹  the well. It was about noon. ² 

Jesus said to her, “Believe me, woman, ¹  a time ²  is coming when you will worship ³  the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.

“Do not be amazed at this, because a time ¹  is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice

He was a lamp that was burning and shining, ¹  and you wanted to rejoice greatly for a short time ²  in his light.

So then they tried to seize Jesus, ¹  but no one laid a hand on him, because his time ²  had not yet come.

(Jesus ¹  spoke these words near the offering box ²  while he was teaching in the temple courts. ³  No one seized him because his time ⁴  had not yet come.) ⁵ 

They will put you out of ¹  the synagogue, ²  yet a time ³  is coming when the one who kills you will think he is offering service to God. ⁴ 

“I have told you these things in obscure figures of speech; ¹  a time ²  is coming when I will no longer speak to you in obscure figures, but will tell you ³  plainly ⁴  about the Father.

(Now it was the day of preparation ¹  for the Passover, about noon. ² ) ³  Pilate ⁴  said to the Jewish leaders, ⁵  “Look, here is your king!”

He then said to his disciple, “Look, here is your mother!” From that very time ¹  the disciple took her into his own home.

About three o’clock one afternoon ¹  he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God ²  who came in ³  and said to him, “Cornelius.”

About noon ¹  the next day, while they were on their way and approaching ²  the city, Peter went up on the roof ³  to pray.

At ¹  that hour of the night he took them ²  and washed their wounds; ³  then ⁴  he and all his family ⁵  were baptized right away. ⁶ 

But when they recognized ¹  that he was a Jew, they all shouted in unison, ²  “Great is Artemis ³  of the Ephesians!” for about two hours. ⁴ 

came ¹  to me and stood beside me ²  and said to me, ‘Brother Saul, regain your sight!’ ³  And at that very moment ⁴  I looked up and saw him. ⁵ 

And do this ¹  because we know ²  the time, that it is already the hour for us to awake from sleep, for our salvation is now nearer than when we became believers.
