Moved with compassion, ¹  Jesus ²  stretched out his hand and touched ³  him, saying, “I am willing. Be clean!”

Then ¹  Jesus ²  entered the synagogue ³  again, and a man was there who had a withered ⁴  hand.

So he said to the man who had the withered hand, “Stand up among all these people.” ¹ 

He was not able to do a miracle there, except to lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them.

And they saw that some of Jesus’ disciples ate their bread with unclean hands, that is, unwashed.

They brought to him a deaf man who had difficulty speaking, and they asked him to place his hands on him.

Then Jesus ¹  placed his hands on the man’s ²  eyes again. And he opened his eyes, ³  his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.

Then ¹  Jesus ²  led them out as far as Bethany, ³  and lifting up his hands, he blessed them.

Some of them were wanting to seize him, but no one laid a hand on him. ¹ 

Simon Peter said to him, “Lord, wash ¹  not only my feet, but also my hands and my head!”

this man, who was handed over by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, you executed ¹  by nailing him to a cross at the hands of Gentiles. ² 

So ¹  they seized ²  them and put them in jail ³  until the next day (for it was already evening).

and he has seen in a vision ¹  a man named Ananias come in and place his hands on him so that he may see again.”

The ¹  hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number who believed ²  turned ³  to the Lord.

About that time King Herod ¹  laid hands on ²  some from the church to harm them. ³ 

nor is he served by human hands, as if he needed anything, ¹  because he himself gives life and breath and everything to everyone. ² 

You yourselves know that these hands of mine ¹  provided for my needs and the needs of those who were with me.

but I was let down in a rope-basket ¹  through a window in the city wall, and escaped his hands.

I, Paul, write this greeting by my own hand. ¹  Remember my chains. ²  Grace be with you. ³ 

to aspire to lead a quiet life, to attend to your own business, and to work with your hands, as we commanded you.
