Take what is yours and go. I ¹  want to give to this last man ²  the same as I gave to you.

Tell us then, what do you think? Is it right ¹  to pay taxes ²  to Caesar ³  or not?”

Peter ¹  said to him, “If they all fall away because of you, I will never fall away!”

And a voice came from heaven: “You are my one dear Son; ¹  in you I take great delight.” ² 

“I tell you, stand up, take your stretcher, and go home.” ¹ 

Jesus ¹  asked him, “What is your name?” And he said, “My name is Legion, ²  for we are many.”

For John had repeatedly told ¹  Herod, “It is not lawful for you to have your brother’s wife.” ² 

He swore to her, ¹  “Whatever you ask I will give you, up to half my kingdom.” ² 

Peter began to speak to him, “Look, ¹  we have left everything to follow you!” ² 

When ¹  Jesus ²  saw their ³  faith he said, “Friend, ⁴  your sins are forgiven.” ⁵ 

Which is easier, ¹  to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Stand up and walk’?

As ¹  they were walking ²  along the road, someone said to him, “I will follow you wherever you go.” ³ 

Which of these three do you think became a neighbor ¹  to the man who fell into the hands of the robbers?”

And Peter said, “Look, we have left everything we own ¹  to follow you!” ² 

Jesus replied, ¹  “I tell you, Peter, the rooster will not crow ²  today until you have denied ³  three times that you know me.”

Jesus replied, ¹  “Woman, ²  why are you saying this to me? ³  My time ⁴  has not yet come.”

So the Jewish leaders ¹  said to the man who had been healed, “It is the Sabbath, and you are not permitted to carry your mat.” ² 

They asked him, “Who is the man who said to you, ‘Pick up your mat ¹  and walk’?” ² 

So they said to him, “Then what miraculous sign will you perform, so that we may see it and believe you? What will you do?

But even now I know that whatever you ask from God, God will grant ¹  you.” ²
